How Often Should You Visit The Dentist?

We suggest regular visits for healthy teeth and gums.

We recommend dental check-ups and cleaning at least twice per year, to not only keep your teeth and gums in great condition but also so we may identify any issues in the early stages. A couple of things we watch for are tooth decay or any problems with your gums. If you have bleeding gums, it’s best to see us sooner than later as your gums give us a warning of something being wrong. We can remove the bacteria and treat your gums to hopefully prevent gum disease. As for tooth decay, sometimes it can be fixed quickly and cost effectively if spotted early enough. If the decay is left unattended to, it could potentially lead to needing a crown or more intensive dental work.

We know that most people don’t like going to the dentist and will avoid it for as long as possible. Don’t worry; we don’t take it personally but we are here to help you have healthy teeth and gums. At AA South Florida Dentistry our goal is to change the way you feel about dental visits. We want you to feel that you did something for yourself by caring for a vital asset, your teeth, and your overall health.  A healthy mouth is a happy mouth!

If you are nervous about a dental procedure, we want to help. We will make sure you are informed of the process and we will make you as comfortable as possible, including in-office sedation if needed. Our state of the art equipment allows us to provide treatment with reduced pain and discomfort. Progress in our technique also means that many treatments don’t take as long as they used to.
